Bismarck UCC reaches out beyond the needs of the parish and provides hope that endures to those who are in need. We have a long-term commitment to minister to and with hurting people in our community and around the world. Working with partners near and far, we endeavor to build a mission program which meets real need, respects human dignity and empowers people for more faithful living.
In the UCC, we help build communities of faith and in the process, our own churches are strengthened. We make long-term commitments and we respect the cultures and traditions of our mission partners. We go to them carrying love, hope and knowledge. We return with strengthened faith, heightened joy and a broader understanding of God's people.

East Timor Middle School
East Timor is a country on the verge of good things. The country has been through a lot and poverty is widespread, but faith and hope are strong.
Bismarck UCC supports a middle school there to help the East Timorese live better lives. As a Global Ministry Church, we are committed to partnering with others around the world through Global Ministries.
Jack's Place Food Pantry
The pantry is open to anyone in our own community that for one reason or another needs basic sustenance to survive. Be it food for the baby or cereal for breakfast, we have cupboards with food for anyone in need.
In the Community
Throughout the year, Bismarck UCC also engages in other opportunities to reach beyond our church walls, such as participating in the CROP Hunger Walk, serving The Banquet, advocating on justice issues such as housing for all, and participating in the Wilson Health Care Collaborative on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
